Clarion HearingCall us

Hearing care, close to home.

Hearing loss usually comes on slowly, and it’s easy to put off doing anything about it. Clarion Hearing makes that first step easy. We test carefully, explain what we find in plain language, and give you honest advice about what will actually help.

We’re an independent clinic, not owned by a hearing aid manufacturer, so that advice is about what suits you. We look after you afterwards too, through fitting, adjustments and check-ups, and we work closely with your doctor, so your hearing care stays part of your overall health.

What we do

Free hearing check
A short screening, about 15 minutes. No referral needed, and it’s free for everyone.
Hearing assessment
A full diagnostic test with a clinician, your results explained, and a report sent to your doctor.A referral from any medical practitioner is required for a Medicare-funded assessment.
Hearing aids
Fitted and programmed for your hearing, with follow-up appointments and ongoing care.
Ongoing care
Repairs, adjustments, cleaning and annual reviews.

Working with your doctor

Hearing care that stays part of your medical care.

We work from medical practices, and we keep your doctor in the loop. After a hearing assessment we send your results and our written comments back to whoever referred you, so your hearing sits on your medical record alongside everything else.

A referral from any medical practitioner is needed for a Medicare-funded assessment, and we can help you sort that out.

And if we find something that needs a doctor rather than a hearing aid, we’ll tell you, and write to your GP.
